making of my pistol

this is small double shot pistol that i have made in max, this pistol is low poly and i have designed it to one day go in a game engine like UDK.

i started out by making two cylinders and placing them over my reference image.
selecting one end of each cylinder, i inset the ends and then extruded them in until the ends of the inner pipe reach the ends of the outer pipe, i inset the other ends of the outer pipes and then deleted the inset faces on the outer pipe and the faces at the end of the inner pipe.
selecting by vertex i welded the inner tube end to the inset outer tube.
i created a cube and moved it over my reference image, i converted it to editable poly and then began extruding both ends until they roughly fitted around my reference, from here i moved the vertexs to shape the object so it fitted the handle.
i added two connects down the center of the object, from these connects i extruded the hinges at the top and the trigger guard at the bottom, again  i used the vertexs to model the object to the correct shape.
i took another cube and using the same techniques i used to create the handle i created the grip, i mirrored the grip so that the grip on the other side would be identical but reflected. (mirrored)
after completing the grip i created a cylinder and inset slightly at one end, i then extrude the inset inwards about 8/10 down the cylinder before cutting it in half horizontally and bridging between the inner and outer cylinder.
following the same pattern of work i made the hammer and sights.
i made screws by taking a sphere and chopping it in have, i selected the polys down the centre and extruded them inwards.
this is the uv unwrap for my pistol.
